It's crucial to understand the difference between "Eau De Parfum" and "Eau De Toilette" while buying for perfume.
Because the amounts of oils in Eau De Parfum are higher than those in Eau De Toilette, Eau De Parfum is a stronger scent.
A high fragrance concentration simply means that the perfume contains a larger percentage of essential oils and less alcohol. This means the scent will linger longer and you won't have to reapply it as often. Eau De Parfum is therefore more expensive than Eau De Toilette.
That's also why Bath & Body Works' perfume only lasts about 30 minutes. The essential oils have a very low concentration. It's largely made up of alcohol.
Eau De Parfum can last up to 5-8 hours, whereas Eau De Toilette lasts only 3-5 hours.
