Adulting!

If you're a highly self-aware and bright person trying to advance in life, the hardest part of adulting that no one prepares you for is how difficult it is to cross paths with people from whom you can learn from, be mentored by, or simply relate with in an intellectually pleasant manner.

We are compelled to interact with people and situations that fall short of our expectations, resulting in forced isolation. This is why, in order to have a healthy perspective and attitude toward life, you must become not just comfortable with, but also actively embrace your isolation. You must remind yourself that it is always preferable to be alone than to be in terrible company, and that anyone who does not provide is taking a break from your life. Remind yourself that you have the right to choose who you devote your time and attention to, as well as the kind of locations you choose to visit.
